Week 8 · Level 2 · Session #8

Joyous Communication

Hard conversations get easier when you have language ready. Build your scripts and meet weekly.

Intention

I speak so my children can stay open.

This week's practices

— Save three scripts you'll actually use.
— Run one family meeting from a generated agenda.
— Replace one lecture with one question.

Script bank & family meeting agenda generator

Script bank

Save the ones that sound like you.

They lie to avoid trouble“I'd rather hear something hard than something false. Tell me again — the truth costs less.”You lost your temper“I raised my voice and that wasn't fair to you. The rule stands, the tone was mine to fix.”They refuse a chore“This household runs because each of us carries something. Which part are you carrying tonight?”Big feelings, no words“You don't have to explain it yet. I'll sit here until it's easier to say.”Comparison to another home“Other houses run differently, and that's fine. Here's why ours works the way it does.”
